A rare gathering with Puru the Guru — mentor, researcher and storyteller — hosted by Saijal of SaijWellness. Six unhurried hours of guidance, breathwork, woodland and a plant‑based meal.

Four threads, woven without rush. You are welcome to take part in all of it, or simply to sit and be present.
Broad and detailed conversation on the questions you carry — work, family, meaning, money. Puru speaks plainly, from study and lived experience.
A guided session designed to soften the nervous system and bring you fully into the day. Suitable for absolute beginners.
Together we step into the trees. No agenda, no phones — only footsteps, weather and quiet noticing.
Seasonal, vegan, prepared with care. Shared at one long table — the kind of food that finishes a day rather than interrupts it.

The primary attraction
Dr Purnendu Nath — known to many as Puru — is a researcher, mentor and coach whose work moves easily between finance, philosophy and the everyday question of how to live well.
He rarely appears in London. This day is your chance to hear him speak in a small room, and to bring him a question of your own.
Your host
Saijal Ladd is the founder of SaijWellness and a mentee of Puru's. Her breathwork practice is gentle, grounded and quietly powerful — the right opening note for a day like this one.
She will look after every detail of the day, from the first cup of tea to the last footsteps on the walk home.

The shape of the day
A soft landing — meet the circle.
The heart of the day — talk and questions.
A guided session to settle in.
A long table, shared and unhurried.
Together into the trees.
A few words. Tea. Out into the evening.
A gentle guide — the day will breathe as it needs to.
“Puru has a way of cutting through the noise without ever being abrupt. An hour with him reorders a year of thinking.”
“Thank you so much for organising the breathwork workshop. I started using some of the techniques first thing in the morning and evening. It has already helped me feel a lot better. Had a decent night's sleep.”
“Thank you so much for the wonderful workshop Saijal. It was so interesting and informative, and such a lovely way to experience quietness of mind while learning the breathing techniques. I will definitely be putting these techniques into practice and be more aware of how I breathe. Lovely to meet everyone in the group too 🤗”
